The Mattress Cleaning Process

We will visit your home to provide the mattress cleaning service. The cleaning will take approximately 45 minutes for a double mattress and leave ir ready for use within ten minutes.
As we use a totally chemical and water free Mattress Cleaning System there is added satisfaction that there is no risk to your health, just the dust mites health!

High Powered Vacuum Cleaner

The specialist cleaning process has four stages

High Powered Vacuum
Aller-gene uses the UK's most advanced system to remove the dust and dust mites. Dust mites hang on to the fibres within your mattress and need to be dislodged. The Aller-gene Mattress Cleaning System has a high powered vacuum that vibrates along with the suction action, thus ensuring dust mites are effectively removed.
HEPA Filter
The removed dust, dust mites and their waste are contained within a HEPA Filter, preventing them re-entering the environment. Most home vacuums do not prevent the contents re-entering the environment thus aggrivating conditions in the room.
High Intensity UV-C Lamp
As the vacume passes over the mattress a high intensity UV-C lamp does so too. The UV-C lamp has the effect of killing bacteria and mould spores, effectively sterilising the mattress. The Allergene Mattress Cleaning System is one of the only Systems in the UK to use UV-C lamps of the correct intensity or exposure time.
Organic Dust Mite Retardent
Finally the treatment area is sprayed with an organic dust mite retardent. This has the effect of preventing or discouraging dust mite return and neutralizing the allergens they produce. All without risk of health to you!
